There a story about a boy who used to cry that he's being attacked by a leopard. People would come t o his rescue, only to find that it was false alarm. When the leopard came, no one responded to the boy's screams, and the leopard killed him.
I don't mean to call anyone a boy or something, but we all know some people who are always being assassinated/killed.

Possible scenarios:

1.GI was accosted by people sent by the leading Presidential contender to force GI to support the 'king'.
2.GI was attacked by over-enthusiatic supporters of the king without the knowledge of the king.
3.GI was attacked by thugs and took advantage of the situation to score a political goal.
4.GI was never attacked, he made up the story to seek attention or score political points.
5.Either number 3 or 4 above with a twist of GI working with political rivals of the king.

Now, this is not very nice...... It's only cowards who would follow someone's children and harm them for political motives.... children who never chose to be born of a politician father! Very sad! And has Kenyatta and his supporters come out to condemn these acts by the way? If not, then it doesn't reflect very well on him having been adversely mentioned whether he is the culprit or not!
