Sad Sad but in other un-important news. a hooker who had intimate relations with rooney and balotelli claims the man-city ace is a far better striker between the sheets

They have retained the cup amid some of the worst controversial referee decisions in the premier league history!

Sensationalism Shame on you Shame on you Shame on you No one stopped the other teams from winning their matches. I do agree though that the penalty awarded was not proper. Six games is a long way from winning the premier league....remember blackburn overtaking Man-U with only 6 games with the same number of points?

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini cast doubt over Mario Balotelli's future after his red card in the 1-0 defeat by Arsenal. The Italy striker was dismissed for two bookable offences as City fell eight points behind Premier League leaders Manchester United. His challenge on Alex Song, missed by the referee, may be investigated by the Football Association. Asked whether he would try to sell Balotelli, Mancini said: "Probably."

Haven't we heard this before, regarding one Tevez?

@impunity, i think officiating has been poor in all teams not just man utd. so u cant say they won it because of the refereeing. that said i think city may lose the norwich game.

@ Smano & Mc Reggae....do you really need such kind of support? I think some football "fans" should just stick to what they "know" hata kama they have nothing to do during long weekends.

We are in a fantastic position, its a pity we started the season vibaya. Spurs have lost against Norwich which gives us massive advantage going into the Wolves match......maybe just maybe we can catch Man City. Its amazing how Arsenal have played this season without three of their best players last season (Nasri, Cesc & Wilshere). Podolski, Verthogen, M'villa and maybe Hazard....the future looks bright.

BTW I think refs are somehow afraid of making bold decisions against top teams. In Liga & CL we have Barca while in EPL we have Man Utd....i think its about time UEFA and FA did something about it. Don't get me wrong I'm not saying Man Utd don't deserve to be where they are but we need consistency from the officials.

I'm not sure what you mean @Taz. Kindly elaborate.

The decision by Lee Mason to award the penalty and red card was a product of the linesman failing to call the obvious offside by Ashley Young. Same way Dave Bryan failed/refused to spot the obvious offside by Ivanovich when he scored the first goal against Wigan and then the next offside goal by Mata following Torre's wonder volley. So @Taz and all ye rest, please, spare me. It is not just United, it is big teams getting big decisions against small teams. So direct your anger at the right people - the officials. We are just fans. People forget that United were robbed of an unprecedented 4th straight title by the linesman who refused to see the 2 offside goals by Drogba in 2009/2010 season and Chelsea could only manage to win the title by a point. Utd do what they do, they dusted themesleves up and went on with it.It is scandalous but you cannot tell me that soon to be 20 titles were won by referee decisions. We all want video technology for margin calls. And in that breath I've also lost respect for Ashley Young, as I have with any other diver.

Balotelli should have gotten a red card as early as the 15th min for trying to spike Song's ankle - I don't hear anyone ranting about that. Gooners played really well by the way, I really thought City could pull off a draw, maybe they would if Yaya and Silva had stayed in the pitch.@Tigger Tiggy, now you resort to mudslinging when your team falls 8 points behind? Pole boss, maybe next season. But look at it this way, Utd will drop points before the 6 games are over, question is, will City win all their 6? Including the Manchester derby? Tafakari hayo.

Do Liverpool fans still watch football?Norwich are now level on points with the Kop. What more can be said?

Papiss Cisse has now scored in every game he has played, including yesterday after the wonder solo effort from Ben Arfa. The Magpies might just make it to Europe, at Chelsea's expense. Spurs draw over the weekend and their loss to Norwich yesterday may just spell doom for the team that was once being billed as possible title contenders, hehe.

The FA still wonder why England underperform in major tournaments, even after scheduling teams that played on Saturday to play on Monday!!!!Yet only one game is on today and the rest tomorrow. Their buffonery is astounding.

ION, Real Madrid's 10 point lead has been reduced to just 4, ahead of Real's trip to the derby and the visit to Nou Camp (City have hope). What a game Valencia's Quainta had at goal against Real. That was the first time in 42 games that Real have not scored. Meanwhile, Messi closes in on the record set by Gerd Muller in 72/72 European season with 60 goals, 7 shy of Muller's record. With 7 La Liga games to go and at least 2 more CL games to go, I wouldn't bet against the little man.

By the way I see City beating Westbrom tomorrow and Utd drawing at the DW stadium - Wigan are fighting for their lives and have been extremely unlucky of late. Arsenal should win at Molineux

Arsenal suffered their worst start to a season in 50+ years and many pundits had written them off this season...look at their position now!! (some fellows in Tottenscum had even gone ahead to bet some cash on finishing above Arsenal)

On Sunday Arsenal fielded a team which cost a total of £45.5million – Man City’s starting eleven cost £193.5million and their substitutes cost£113.5million....sometimes money can't buy you trophies!!!....but no one can convincingly predict the remaining games...

@ Smano.....QPR and Wigan are both fighting relegation, its not just about what is at stake for the top teams. For what its worth I really hope QPR succeeds in their appeal against the red card. Ivanovic got away with the offside goal but he is set to be charged for violent conduct in an off-the ball incident. Whenever i watch Barca and the kind of decisions made by officials in their matches, it always reminds me of Man Utd (especially at OT)....as i said earlier, that doesn't mean that they don't deserve to be Champions.

Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.
