every time i pass by that building i wonder whether the guy and city council are serious at all. what will happen the moment outering is upgraded to dual carriage. I also thing too near the rail line less than the allowable distance from a rail line.

I hope we won't see another building coming down...

Maybe the owner belongs to the class of untouchables but i sure bet this will go down, just a matter of time.

Outering expansion cant touch it. There is a pipeline in between the railway and the road. which means that the road can only be extended from the other side. I hear the largest shareholder in the Taj properties is the deputy speaker

what i don't get is are we going to move the rail line or we will be closing the road for trains to pass... the kind of accidents there will be crazy.

The owner sits in Parliament and true expansion will be done on the other side full of wolalo landlords. They have been ordered to quit already smile
That mall is convinient cz it serves those caught up in traffic at that crazy roundabout.
You can pop in to shop when traffic is gum.
But when u leave the mall, there's this ugly block infront of it close to the stage. So people have to go round to enter public vehicles.

With or without the mall hapo watu hugongwa na train sana in broad daylight.

True but the inside is still under construction. Lifts and floors not yet complete as you go up.
Chase and Equity Bank,Uchumi,Some cookies place and a clothes shop seem to be doing fine so far even though biz seems a bit slow, except in equity kama kawaida.

I love the way its spacious inside and it serves the airport region well but nje?Sad

Taj mall, taj Towers (upper hill) and Taj apartments (embakasi) are owned by a chute called ramesh Shah. he sure does dine with the who-is-who in the country. That bldng lies squarely on a road reserve. If you want to know how far the road reserve extends, just look at where the pipeline & Avenue 1 and II houses start. You cant also have the railway passing just 10 meters away. Impunity at its best.
On the other side the road almost touches the boundary wall.....

Really? wow talk of dare.
You know a good athlete can jump right off the flyover and straight into the building's compound.

The architect's design is better than the real thing

So?!!!How do furnishings/occupancy affect the location or the fact that the building is wrongly placed? Sikupati.
