The case on determination of the land ownership is slotted for hearing on 2nd April
the report implied that the demolitions may have gone overboard.
Question is to what extent ? any idea who will be compensated ?
I think if they have to hire PWC means there is big bucks and many people involved.
The Mutava team (Parliaments’ Lands and Natural Resource Committee) recommended restitution to those affected.
Restitution;

Compensation if any will be to the plot owners for houses and other developments in their plots damaged.

We all watched as it happened! -the extend of overboard should be based on your (our) subjective judgments.

Don’t have info. on this hire, -read about it in the BD article.
The Mutava team did not make a determination on ownership and that’s why in the BD article says.....
C&P
“Mr Musyimi said the audit firm would undertake the huge task of combing through “large volumes of documents dealing with land ownership” received from various witnesses during the hearings of the parliamentary committee.”
Based on the presentations at Uungani’s AGM this last Saturday, am convinced they have an arguable case and a chance too.
Let’s wait and see what happens on 2nd April.
