I cant believe what I just saw on news, that in the yea 2012 learned and wel travelled people would get together because of their tribe for the sole purpose of getting one of their own in power. What makes it more repulsive is that he is suspected of heinous crimes...... No wonder Kenya is a bana republic and we will be at the same spot for a loooooooooong time to come.

Anyone who believes that anything like GEMA exists is really confused and needs therapy.

Where were they when their brethren were being cut up into pieces in 1192, 1997, 2002, 2007.

It seems they only come out to help their GEMA communities when they want to anoint Muthamaki.

I don't believe there is any human being more stupid than a Kenyan who believes his tribe will save him.

There are things that are easily understood and the others,but that line on icc is really daft whoever came up with it can only be described using presidents words:Bloody bure kabisa. @alma,.trust me i agree with you that my tribe wont save me,but what happens when am hated for being of a certain tribe,something i got no control over.it is at this moment that you start seeking your own,where you are accepted.not ideal but true.

@bepari

It is not your tribe that is hated....It is some 4 guys going to the hague. If you can't get that through your head, then you have serious issues.

This tribe Kikuyu has never fed me, or my family. This tribe called luo has not helped me either.

Now it has a declared leader. Who will do what? What is the duty of this kikuyu leader?

Someone keeps on sinking Uhuru deeper in the ICC hole while pretending they love him. Now the courts have evidence that he is the defacto leader of a tribal outfit. They even tell him not to go to the hague.....in public.

I say it again. Nothing on this earth is more stupid than a Kenyan who believes his tribe is worth anything. Yesterday you had evidence of exactly how many stupid Kenyans exist. Many of them were even on Twitter.

You remember my analogy of bringing a guy from the shags to the city?

The guy may be a city "dwera" but he's just upus. Give him twirra and email and you have a time bomb. These ole itumbis, and one Oliver M fit that bill exactly.

@ Pariah and Alma, your dislike for the Gema "nonsense" is quite hypocritical.I may not necessarily support them but over the past one year or so almost all other groupings of communities have met and "anointed" a leader or "chatted" their way forward as they say. We have had the Luhya working through ODM and Ford Kenya, Coasterians have done the same, Rift Valley etc..
Why didnt you raise this issues then? You can relax, Gema is just one group of communities, they may not necessarily get their way since Kenya is a combination of different communities but i believe they are doing what the rest of the other communities are doing.

PS: Wasn't politics banned on the forum?d'oh! d'oh!

@alma-true i could be having issues....my tribe doesnt define me,nor does it make me better than the next guy. But when others define me by it,then i have issues.all those in idp camps were defined not by their ideology but by tribe,it could be called the crime of tribe.
