on a lighter note; what is that that every waria smells of? (even the waria ladies smell of it) from eastleigh to south C to hargeisa. Is it some cultural perfume they apply on themselves. FYI i just dislike their smell not their personality
Ngoroko, what is your problem. We got used to burning some herbs to emit the necessary smoke for us to smell like that. When you grow up with such smell, it becomes acceptable and appealing. Back in Somalia, we use it to preserve body freshness as we do not take a shower for months.
The smoke also sends away evil spirits and give us courage fight toe and nail.
It also distracts police dogs from sniffing out a gun under the pujabi.
Hope that answers your question. It is me, Wariahe.
For a start my name is Ngogoyo not Ngoroko or bonoko....
And to those who are saying the heading is misleading, please refrain from selective reading.
On the issue of smoke, bathing, how the perfume is applied as radio puts it...., let me vomit and will come back to you.
