Then the PM will walk out, get the support of those in favour of a december election and Kibaki and his PNU side rule without having to worry about consulting with someone and the MP's continue getting their salaries until the term of parliament is over na kazi iendelee.

If Raila gains from walking out of the coalition then Kibaki loses nothing as he is not seeking another term.

Still; how come we cannot post replies on this thread:http://www.wazua.co.ke/forum.aspx?g=posts&t=18040 ?

I wanted to say that I heard Mwalimu King'ang'i explaining why he supports the Mar Elections. he said it would be good to have elections after people have spent all their money on xmas celebrations and are all broke! The Maina retorted: "Do you realise that this means Kibaki might remain in power until June next year?

To which King'ang'i replied: "What's wrong with that? Can't you see we might get a Machakos superhighway before he retires!?"

Well; now I can't write that...

But you just did exactly that.

By the way, I would support Kibaki going till 2014 as from past record, this fella is a performer. What exactly do people look for in a President? Otherwise, lend us Kibaki to be the president of Somalia and we will be thankful forever. Lamu Port would then move to Kismayu. I heard the project was designed by Kibaki's team when he was Minister of Finance or Finance Minister. Is that true?
