@kratos agreed. I'm a businessman..all I want to know is the date and get it over with. The politician will be happy keeping guys guessing..so even if its tommorow, we just need a date. kudos iebc

when Mutahi ngunyi was busy telling you people about this no one wanted to hear anything - people were busy reading the constitution as they wanted it to to say not what it said.

Mutahi Ngunyi is a genius!!! The man predicted the PEV in great detail 4 years in advance! If I was a big shot politician, he would be on my payroll. Chief advisor! But I understand he's just too principled. If you don't play straight politics, he can't play ball. That's the deal breaker for your average (heck, all) Kenyan politician(s).

Legal experts have said dissolution of the coalition is inconsequential and does not necessarily means parliament dissolves and hence no election in December.

On Mutahi, he predicted an MM presidency too on Friday, if UK and WR are tied by ICC. I think this is another prophecy that will come to pass.

I am not a lawyer but I can read and I know that there are 2 ways of interpreting law - as it is written and as it has been ruled before.
as it is written, the national accord does not mention the principals but parties therefore its not the principals that decide but the party (the reality that a party can be at the control of the principal is a totally different matter) secondly, the national accord is silent on what happens after the coalition ends -its open to interpretation, does parliament stand dissolved and we go for an election? do we revert to the state the country was in before the accord (Kibaki's gava) - that's what you get for adding a whole floor between 2 floors in an already existing building.

Immediately after the Constitutional Court ruling, we tried to spur this debate but it didnt quite get the attention.

There are a number of grey areas in the new constitution.

The court ruling didnt quite clarify issues either!

We remain in a mess. No 1 culprit for me is the Constitution!!!!
