CPR. Rushed to hospital. Match abandoned. Doesn't look good at all.

He's still in ICU critically ill, club have actually asked fans to pray for him and have even gone further to postpone Tuesday's match against Aston Villa to Wednesday. His heart stopped for two hours last night......lets hope he pulls through. When he gets better he needs to take a break from football for a year or few months, the last thing players need is another Marc Foe disaster.

Seems to be responding well. Recoginising family and friends, although still in ICU. My concern is the effect on his Brain due to the 2 hour Heart stop. Pray for the Almighty's miracle.

cardiac arrests are not only factors of age, weight or even profession. sometimes there are underlying issues that are genetic. things like age, weight and lifestyle choices INCREASE THE LIKELIHOOD but are not the cause of cardiac arrests.

Uuh ooh, maybe Admin is onto something now that I see a Sports Bigot has gone to jail due to his insensitive/racial comments on Twitter when Muamba collapsed.
Liam Stacey 21 year old student began by saying "LOL *** Muamba. He's dead!!!" and when some took him to task on Twitter, he hurled back offensive comments at them.

Why would a 23 year old suffer cardiac arrest?
Old people get cardiac attacks. Young people get cardiac arrests from irregular beating of the heart
