August 2017, current election was an exception since it's the first under new constitution.

Nothing will happen to the school calendar
Next election August 2017 its clear in the constitution.

when Mutahi ngunyi was busy telling you people about this no one wanted to hear anything - people were busy reading the constitution as they wanted it to to say not what it said. this is just the beginning. actually kibaki will be in power until June due to the run-off...

Am always surprised by some statements coming from politicians. "They (IEBC) should have read the public mood..." Where the heck is this mood being read coz no one has ever read mine!
Kenyans need to be realistic, like in most other countries NOTHING MUCH CHANGES after an election. The significance we attach to elections is what got us to 2007/8, as if Kenya as a country is dependent on elections to survive.
Whatever the date, if the elections are not credible it wont matter will it?
