Rigged. Sometime last week or in the last 2 weeks one Michel Platini was wishing for a dream final of Real Vs Barca. He just got his wish.

Agreed.Spanish football on a resurgence.Look at the last 8 of the europa,3 teams are spanish!

The final will be Bayern Vs Barcelona.....Real will face a very difficult task against the Germans in the Semis. Actually if Bayern make the final they might as well win it.

Poor Milan, just when they thought they can't meet Barca again.

@ Dossy7....Real usually crumble against "big teams" and Bayern with Ribery, Robben, Gomez, Muller and Shweinsteiger can thrash them on a good day. This encounter can go either way but I'll go with the Germans because they are very solid defensively and will be motivated with the fact that the Final will be played in the home ground.

Thats a naked lie.Two teams from the same country
1.cannot be grouped together in round of 32.
2.cannot meet in the last 16, neither 2 teams previously grouped 2gether meet at this level.
3.The last 8, to know your opponent ni bahati nasibu kwani it also gives an insight on who u are likely to meet if u r successful up to final.

Naona kuna watu wanapata nightmares na Man Utd.

When I saw the Chelsea lineup I thought to myself,Di Matteo must know something we don't - he was vindicated by the scoreline,Benfica have to beat Chelsea by 2 clear goals at The Bridge - tough ask.1st semi more or less decided,Barca vs Chelsea.Any slight hope Milan had of holding Barca evaporated when Thiago Silva was declared out for 3-4 weeks.And with the likes of Van Bommel and Abiatti out also,I'll be surprised if Milan are not humiliated in one (or both)of those legs.

Real should have been 4 nil up by half time so no surprises the Nicosian resistamce finally gave in.The possible Real Bayern match up for me is a final by itself,on any other day the team winning such a semi would be clear favourites for the title,only that there's the small matter of Barca!

@mkeiy,it's actually Forza Milan and Viva Barca...but then again,you thought teams from the same country don't meet in the quarters....tsk tsk tsk

barca held by a determined ac milan. i wouldnt write off the italians. they have enough experience to surprise messi and co in 6 days time.
bayern have 1 foot in the semis after a 2-0 win over marseille
