After studying the past I have come to the following conclusion - in order for there to be any kind of Post Election Violence, the Kikuyu and the Kalenjin tribes must be on the opposing sides! Violence comes from Geographical proximity to each other in rift valley. It follows that there shall be no PEV in 2012 or 2013 as long as Uhuru and Ruto are on the same side - regardless of how heated political temperatures get heated we cannot expect countrywide violence, I predict that if any skirmishes will be limited to slums where the Luo and Kikuyu mingle!
