Truly the greatest without doubt. The only blemish is to lead his country La Albiceleste to world cup glory!

Maradona is certainly the GOAT. He inspired his team to a world cup trophy, something that Messi has been unable to do, though his on pitch wizardry is legendary.

..... How about in Africa? I will pick Mohamed Aboutrika ahead of George Weah.

Well, Messi is astounding, he has a great future and his character may just keep him glowing for longer! No one really hates Messi - he is a good guy, never picking fights no attitude just scores effortlessly. As far as being a great goal scorer is concerned - Pele scored 1281 goals in 1363 games!!! woi!!
However, Messi will go far (he may not get the 1k plus goals) but he will pita that maembe called Maradona who allowed fame to get into his head. Maradona was brilliant, he could score from a kick off! he was so good during his time he had a parody religion. he however did not fully blossom due to his attitude and use of recreational drugs.

Just because Pele is black, Messi and Maradona are better than him!! Bollocks. I see this a lot in the white controlled media. But like the great man himself said "let him score 1281 goals and win 3 world cups then we can talk" That said Messi still has time on his side and he is good.
