@Lolest
I get what you mean but unfortunately for us to be able to demand fair trade and better terms in infru loans there are things we need to work on as a country, take for instances loan terms, you get favorable terms based on your credit ratings, which is tied to among other, political stability and accountability, you cannot demand fair deals and you're not deals with the underlying factors. For agri products I have no factual knowledge on their demands but I am sure it is not- don't subsidise, we are subsidising-.
@Masukuma
Unfortunately we're not in a position to make such demands, I know your line of thinking but you sound more like a politician, in a real world however, you do not make those demands unless you have enough cards to play with, unfortunately we don't have enough cards, so before we make those demands we have to first do the basic things i.e feed our people, don't kill one another atleast if we do that, the world with take us seriously.
I live in North America and a couple of night ago I recieved a forward text for a conference call organize by some Kenyans in USA, the conference was about those claims tabled in Parliment about Britain and RAO wanting Uhuru and Ruto to be arrested. I log in to the conference call and I can tell you it was the most foolish conference call I have ever been invited and the annoying part is that there is little difference between Kenyans in Diaspora and Kenyans in Kenya tribalism in Diaspora is well and alive! Unless Kenya get back to where it was during 2002 Election, we're back to MOI era.
