Apparently Southern Sudan has signed contracts with three countries including Uganda for oil pipelines. Uganda route should connect with Tanzanian port. Kenya is competition. IT is a question of who delivers first.

The message was on the situation between the governments of Sudan and SS.The PM also had an opportunity to address a poverty alleviation conference at state house Entebbe. Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.

S.S is also seeking the long route via UG and TZ? I thought the shorter route is better! Ethiopia too is seeking a longer route via Kenya while the Djibouti route has always been available. Djibouti relies heavily on its port and Ethiopian imports and exports are the bulk of activity there.
