..why don't you order a full truck and ensure yourself a year's supply of cheap beer. You see,here in Zimbabwe,whenever you go to a club you order only once - like if you take 10 beers you order 10. Reason: if you order one one,every beer will come with its own price. Prices increase by the minute!!! So guy,beat them at their own game,call East African Breweries now.....

@ZZ,

Is this why EABL moved 1,172,800 share yesterday i.e someone knows something others don't know?

Is raising VAT a smart move?This only makes products more expensive thus people buy less

I am not expecting anything exciting,the usual increase in sin tax,the rest of the expenditure is to pay salaries to civil servants who do sweet f**k all day.

Then of course the trick about development expenditure which is never spent as no project ever gets done.

I guess if you can't win with facts,you can always pen bile-laced,xenophobic rants to distract everyone.

I hope when he increases the VAT he won't say that the changes take effect from midnight tonight.

The reason is that since introduction of the ETR machines,VAT cannot be increased very easily. There are serious logistics of re-programming the machines!!

@ magigi. How do you budget for your time out if beer increases by the hour? Or much better,how are wages and salaries calculated and paid out? Does anyone know how much they'll make in a month? It beats me.
