coastal sceneries complement each other to create an unforgettable holiday experience.
The Tourim and Golf Resort City is set on about 4,300 acres with palm and lush
mangrove forest Indian Ocean frontage and beautiful salt beaches. Sited within the
defined limits of the New Lamu Free Port, the resort is on the main Malindi Lamu Road
and within 15 minutes drive from the new Lamu International Airport. Two private

Lamu Port.

The Lamu Port Project, due to start this year is a huge infrastructure project that will
have major implications on geopolitical investments in the wider East African region
and may even extend to Central and West Africa. The project which will transform
Kenya into a middle income country as envisaged in vision 2030 economic blue print is
estimated to cost a whopping US$ 23 Billion.
The new project will have a new modern port, refinery, pipeline linking Lamu with the
oil fields of Southern Sudan, a railway line to Juba in Southern Sudan onwards to
Central Africa Republic, and finally Cameroon and a branch line to Ethiopia, a super
highway linking to Ethiopia and Sudan, an international airport and several resort cities
or towns within Kenya. The railway developments will also have a line to Uganda,
Rwanda, DRC and Congo Brazzaville. There will also be a line to serve the 80 million
strong population of Ethiopia.

The port, one of the largest on the African continent will be able to handle Super Post
Panamax vessels, with a capacity of 8,000 teu [twenty-foot equivalent units] as opposed
to the 3,000 teu other vessels that it is currently handling. With 22 berths it will handle
35 million tones per year compared to its competing port of Djibouti which has 11
berths and handles 7 million tones of cargo per year.

I was trying to copy the prices but they keep getting corrupted.... but basically, 1/4 is going for 475,000 and an acre for 900,000. There are parcels up to 5 acres big. the more acreage you buy, the less the price per acre. If you buy 5 acre parcel, they sell at 700k per acre.

Disclaimer: Always remember, Due Diligence is a must and its your responsibility. Investment is dictated by your appetite to risk and your capability of spotting good opportunities. This was forwarded to me by a friend and i thought i should share for those who would be interested. it should not by any chance be seen as promoting the project. Am just passing and sharing information.

Thank you good people.

By the way, why is it always a golf course being the star attraction? I've never heard of a property developer boasting: ''Our gated community homes are surrounded with two state of the art football pitches, 1 with artificial turf, complete with undersoil heating''
Hii ni serious!

So a dev't with a golf course means kenyans will be cooks and watchmen?
Seriously?

i don't think so.
There is a whole city in south africa dedicated to that and they make serious money.
Last you checked, how much does a professional chef make?
