Are you kidding me? We need a straight thinking, intelligent, entrepreneurial, creative mind. This is a CEO’s job. Not a politicians job!!! We need someone who can successfully run a company with a turn over of 30 Billion. Ex – Kajoras (99.9% of them) don’t qualify. Call me elitist if you want!!!

Jimnah Mbaru would have been perfect in my opinion but it looks like he wants to go back machinani – Murang’a county – if recent activities are anything to go by. Anyone who has successfully ran a "big" company will get my vote if he vies – assuming he has no skeletons like corruption, tribalism etc. in his closet. No career politician will get my vote on this one!

for better emphasis!!
If waititu takes this or the current crop of politicians who utter words like 'unafikiri nakuogopa? kwenda huko' in parliament? I leave the city for good!! never to be seen here again.

This politicians who were once corporate leaders gives us the prospects of our counties being managed like the corporations they headed if elected. But how sure are we that once they transform into politicians things will go the way we imagine they would when afterall the Governorship is a political office and they are now politicians?

This hype around clean corporates will mess us up. It is based on the old assumption that politicians are dirty fellows and the rest of us are clean. I believe that we are a dirty society that gives birth to bad leaders. Look at the CMC saga. Both parties are guilty of corrupt deals!

Plus his networks helps him get information that normal networks may not reveal. Eg he can tell you who owns what in kiangombe, kiahiti slums

I doubt Jimnah is going to Muranga. His CV is too big for muranga. I would vote him in, if he still principled and strong.

My argument is not on Waititu but on the suitability of a politician to vie.

Waititu/Sonko and Jimnah/Kidero who do you think is more popular with the ordinary voter in Nairobi? We would all like to have a governor who's intelligent and all that but this is a political seat.....party politics will play a big role in determining who emerges the winner.

You may have a point here....the middle class may go for the corporate guys, but politics is a different ball game...unless Waititu decides to back Jimnah...

Why do we always have to choose from a lil group of select illiterate and rowdy politicians.
We need more players in the field for better comparison.
I imagine somebody asking me to choose between sonko and waititu!
They may win due to masses but to deliver is another game altogether.

I come across very educated action packed kenyans who can change a society but they lack financial muscle.
This is why politics is recycled and the tired politicians just cant go home!!
smh!

Motto for Governor Waititu:

Your Governor is only a stone's throw away.

Only you don't read the fine print to realize it will the governor throwing a stone at you!!!

Waititu is now 'titu?
I'd rather 'waitish'. Sounds more suitable. Waitish inatisha and sounds huge, threatening. Just like the owner

I heard Kamaru refer to some colonial time chief/homeguard or was it a governor as such...only with 'na' instead of 'sh'Sad
