But the faint hearted need take a deep breath. I need some ice cubes - for my eyes!

I hope once in our lifetime,we all can change someone's life. Give thanks unto the Lord for all he has given you and remember others too. Watch this video.... (i have never known how to paste a link)

that clip is quite moving even to those with hearts of stone. but this is africa for you where the leaders ride in top of the range benzes,hummers and choopers without a care in the world about the down trodden. look,kenya is buying bp shell to house the PM for 1bn. we are also spending 300m to build a des-res palace for the vp in leafy karen,yet millions are starving,neglected,abused and marginalized. imagine how many classes,hospitals,orphanages,boreholes that 1bn can build? why don't our mps pay taxes like every other person in the world? sorry but most of our poverty,diseases,and abuses are just self inflicted courtesy of our greedy scumbag leaders. it's the curse of the dark continent. gold,diamonds,oil-fields,copper,gas etc are valuable resources found in abundance under our soil,but see the curse they have become! bure kabisa dark continent!

thank you....it made me remember how luck I and most of us are...I wish the kids well.

When I have money, I get rid of it quickly, lest it find a way into my heart.

@wedz

quite heartbreaking Sad

it made me think of my two sons,2yrs and 6months old; just how blessed they are,but i also wondered what is the least i can do to such innocent beings who are around us; of course i might not be able to help everyone.

each day is a gift from God; I dont know if I will be here tomorrow; should I be,I'll make the most of it for God's glory; should I be not,pick up and keep the legacy

very true. we may not be able to help everyone,but we can help someone. I think all we need to do is the much we can... but at least something. I think @leona had posted something here which we did not really respond that much to and i am just imagining it might not have been any less than what is happening to these kids.
