flats with doors between stairs or front corridor

which is best? i have noted all expensive flats have enterance doors between the stairs while lower class one have doors at the front, any reason for this?

with doors at front one stair case can serve 10 units on one floor as opposed to the option where 2 units on each floor.you could fit an extra unit, shared walls save on cost. But like you have put it only in "lower class".

Draw a diagram to explain what you mean by front and between.

Assuming you mean low class apartments have a shared balcony, then the question should not arise unless you have a low IQ. Privacy is paramount for the rich and they pay a premium to ensure that is realized. Wont you be happy to have a private balcony, where only you and family have access to?
