What is ailing the once ‘Mighty’ K’ogalo?

Gor Mahia went for the Confederations Cup match against Ferroviario de Maputo of Mozambique and got walloped 3 -0. Our last league match ended in a 1-0 defeat against newly promoted Muhoroni Youth.

Does coach Anaba Awono know what he is doing? Gor recruited heavily during the transfer window and we have enough talented new blood to finally win the league if the technical bench can put their act together. Gor Mahia is in the doldrums and we need another ‘Len Julians’ to restore the team to the pinnacle of East and Central African football.

I see AFC Leopards are back on top of the league and we are meeting them in the Top 8. I Hope this signals a return to the glorious derbies of the 1980’s and 1990’s when the legendary Wilberforce Mulamba, JJ Masiga, Josephat Murilla and Mahmoud Abbas faced Gor’s ‘Bobby’ Ogolla, Sammy Onyango ‘Jogoo’, George Onyango ‘Fundi’ and Hesborne Omollo in titanic clashes.
