It was rumoured in some sections of media abroad that UG as AMISOM leader was deliberately bungling the ouster of al shabaab so as to continue receiving military aid as well as finances to that end for a prolonged period - maintaining the gravy train so to speak.
The entry of Burundi sparked a leadership tussle with UG insisting that they join the AMISOM under UG command, not wanting to disrupt the gravy train.
I wont be surprised if they viewed Kenyan entry into AMISOM with a certain degree of unease...
