I agree too that he cannot win the primaries, fairly or otherwise. ODM ina wenyewe. His chance of winning the presidency are however higher and all he needs to do is get a new party. If he runs, RAO cannot even be top two for run off and this is how MM could end up in state house. @Lucid, Currently MM remains a Mr. 1%, he has a long way to go, raila's detrators are overating the man everywhere!!!! Opinion polls mean very little in this country where we vote based on tribes. The 1% would easily translate 50%+1 if Uhuru and Ruto say MM tosha and thats a fact, you also know what that would do to the 44%?

This Macharia move seems to place ODM in the limelight once again as expected, ICC tumesahau... Is everyone pro-Uhuru if they are pro-MM. Personally, I'd prefer a less polarizing candidate, thats why am neither pro-RA0,UK,WR and pro MM, Wiper,Tuju and PK.

That means people like you outside this category can now be pro-MM regardless of where you stood initially... Qn; If MM takes it with your vote, aren't guys worried about him being controlled as a puppet?

ali wrote:I don't buy that kind of politics. What would make Musalia a sudden pragmatist, go getter, fearless politician? Overnight? To the extent he want to dislodge his master/political resurrector? From his own party? Bought cash money from imanyara? No way, you can tell that to the birds. Musalia atasalia na Raila tu, he's got no life out of Raila and ODM. And raila can't, won't be musalia's deputy. This is kenya, this is Raila & his odm. Hence, its all aimed at either proving a point, or, give publicity to the party. Jelly jelly people don't transform into hardcore people just like that. @McReggae does not like this. @general, i share your sentiments too. This is ODM's strategy to popularize their candidate and his running mate and by the time they're done, those of us waiting in the periphery watching and drooling at the thought of Mashaa falling out with Rao will be caught napping!!

Lucid_Iam wrote:This Macharia guy is presidential. One reason why I prefer him is he never abuses anyone even in this muddy Kenyan politics. Not even in '07 when his party had gone the whole hog on mudslinging. My one vote is for him if he contests. Wacha nipoteze. The curse of the Kenyan voter is we have memories like those of chickens! Was this not the very same "Macharia" who called a press conference during the disputed 2007 polls and while votes were being tallied declared RAO is the 4th president of Kenya? Macharia together with the other culprit Noah Wekesa (who declared Kibaki as president) should be in court answering to charges of usurping the role of the defunct ECK. If you want to change this country, start with yourself and forget about a so called saviour.

Ever since 'Macharia' called a press conference to introduce VAT to household electricity consumption and said' People are using this electricity to heat their swimming pools in their homes and therefore they should pay VAT' ( that was like 2001 by the way). Swimming pools were only in hotels) I decided I can never vote for him even for a nominated Councillor position. Never! I Think Therefore I Am

MM MAY get Ford kenya nomination. Ford Kenya is desperate to land a big name politician to revive their Western domination. This possibility too would be a game changer
