This Macharia guy is presidential. One reason why I prefer him is he never abuses anyone even in this muddy Kenyan politics. Not even in '07 when his party had gone the whole hog on mudslinging. My one vote is for him if he contests. Wacha nipoteze.

The Kenyan voter is more puzzling than the Kenyan politician. Just the other day he was complaining that the incumbent is too quiet and reserved. Now that he is retiring, the voter wants to replace him with his look-alike!

I would seriously consider giving him my vote. He should go for the Presidency.

He should make his stand known in good time or he will be branded traitor.

He is not out of the woods yet as far as am concerned. Not until he parts ways with Rao and gets soft landing. Plus careful selection of running mate. He also needs to come out and tell us what faith he subscribes to.. never seen him in Church… A leader should be God fearing.

@Ali
I agree with you, the timing of his declaration is quite suspect. I have a feeling that its a game plan, where he goes out gets followers being the most senior politician from western at the moment gives him a head start compared to Wamalwa and the rest.

We will later see a repeat of 2007 Kasarani where he will conveniently loose to RAO and declare his support with him being the running mate.

@njunge
He appears to me like ROA's project, all this conflicts seem to be stage managed.
