The grapevine is romantising with the idea of Uhuru being the candidate and taking Ruto as his running mate.

At least the Nyandarua-Laikipia trip/rally heavily suggested that.

My thinking is that it is not viable.

Simply unconsionable.

i think that is their best bet..the two have support from their tribal backyard... but it will be interesting to see how the likes of saitoti and kalonzo will react given that they are more 'seniour' politically.... agwash must be watching this with a keen eye..
If you dont want to use plan B, have a good plan A.

Everyone thinks the other one should be the running mate! Ruto has been fixed once by Raila so he is unlikely to accept 2nd position. Son of Jomo is also not likely to accept 2nd position. He must feel that the presidency is too late in coming.

And who said Ruto supporters will support Uhuru and vice-versa? Some people have never forgotten PEV!
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

GetIT411:
MAJORITY of Kenyans prefer Uhuru to run for presidency with Ruto as running mate under the G7 Alliance despite ICC charges - Synovate poll.

That is if ICC doesn't haul the duo to you know where. It is still too early to call this game but I dare say we are on course for interesting times...
