Saw huge cranes and lots of construction activity at the site. Seems like a huge investment. Hope it will transform Roysambu the way 'The Junction' transformed Dagoreti Roundabout area.

''At the Roysambu junction, a Sh450 million shopping mall developed by Oasis Capital is set to come up and will have 300 parking spaces, several supermarkets, cinema halls, conference centres and offices.
The mall will also mark the entry of multinational Scandinavian supermarket chain, IKEA, which specialises in furniture.
It will also open a battle for customer’s wallets since Uchumi Supermarkets also plans to build another mall in an adjacent plot.''

The mall will be refered to as Thika Road Mall (TRM) being developed by Fleetwood Limited. Completion date Easter 2013. Already, a number of key anchors such as Nakumatt, Deacons, Tile & Carpet, Text Book Centre have confirmed tenancy. Marketed by Visionary Realtors Limited. Uchumi vs Nakumatt's battle still on!! It will be the same as on Kimabu road near Ridgeways junction.

Actis the PE firm involved in developing the junction already exited its initial investment at 300% profit leaving the new buyers to make the slow money.i believe they are also involved in this Roysambu project and will cash out sooner rather than later
