The K-Card still gives us a 2/- discount. Daily. Any time of the week or day! The balance is valid until used!

What do the judges mean the economy can't absorb the award? That's nonsensical since the money would move from KPC to KK - both are local firms.

As for KPC, didn't it pay for the Triton scams? Where were the judges in telling the banks/financiers & OMCs that recovering the money from KPC/Triton was too much for the economy to bear????

Wouldn't a 5billion charge close to bankrupt KPC¿¿ Can the kenyan economy survive without KPC in the near term¿¿ I think this is what the judges meant by this..
So what? It can be restructured like Uchumi with a better management & KK would either be a Bondholder/Creditor or a Shareholder. KPC has assets that can be sold (like Triton's assets) to repay KK or the fees charged to KK are credited over the next few years.

Investors are still watching to see if it will sustain its profit growth......if in July - August 2012 it sustains last years half year profit levels, then price explosion will be in August 2012.........

Happy Hunting.

What coma? If some investors don't see the value then their loss ;-)

true. Ever since the battles with gava. But have u noticed its trading around the same levels it was when nse was >4000 points. While other companies even in the same sector are trading half the price they were...

The market is pricing KK beating down the bogus cases and winning. However, should the opposite occur, that correction will be swift even if the results are good.

IMHO, the positive outcome of the cases have not even been factored in!

@hisah. I also don't think the market has priced in the outcome of the cases.

@Aguytrying. You've a gud memory! I'm just wondering, how bad is KenGen to go that low? Do we expect 50cts as dividends as seems to be a policy?

thanks. Kengen traded at a very high pe for a long time, much higher than its energy peer kplc. and people wondered when this would change. It did change. About dividends, i refer you to the right hon. Cde.
