I think the outcome of this thing is not easy to predict. As things currently are, whether WSR and UMK withdraw their candidature or not, RAO will not be able to garner the 50% plus 1 vote needed for an outright win during round 1 and therefore there will be a run off.

During the second round two things could happen. WSR, UMK, SKM and others can gang up and support the runners up candidate during the first round. In the event of this, RAO is likely to lose.

If WSR and UMK withdrew their candidature during round 1 and supported another candidate other than SKM, SKM will be no 3 and won’t be vying during round 2. Him(SKM) and a big chunk of his supporters may however decide to support RAO during round 2, and if this happens RAO may win.

SKM and RAO ni kama maji na mafuta.....i know politics doesn't have permanent enemies but i just don't see Wiper and Tinga working together.

We must never make the mistake of underestimating the power of human greed in the light of any 'unity' especially political unity. As the day approaches, as our lists of preferred cabinet secretaries etc leak out, as we start thinking of life with our partners after the election ceremony, we will eat each other alive.

The war will be more vicious especially where there are many big egos.

I tend to think that PK could be the guy to pull a surprise. He seems to have no heavy weight politicians selling him or even interested on his political agenda, he is the dark horse in the race.

He is gaining support silently but quite steadily and could be quite appealing to the youth and middleclass. These are just my views...

If UK and WSR will not be in the ballot then Saitoti's chances will greatly increase....this remains kenya and those things about youth and mobile phones will not count!!!

One thing is apparent.
And it is as Ruto aptly put it;

"I know not who will be the next president, but I certainly know who wont be president!!!"

It's humbling to the 'enigma' and the now brow beaten enigmalets so common place here!

It was foretold eons ago!

But this has caught my attention:
Quote:
Under the proposed power sharing agreement, the two have agreed to contest, the elections separately, but to share power on a 50-50 basis regardless of who wins the presidency.

They will share cabinet positions equally and then jointly agree senior government appointments, diplomatic postings and even county position

They certainly have no good plans for the country, only their cronies will benefit.

Tomorrows list is being made today. The cronies are speaking hard to make the list. The loudest ones will.
