I think the genesis of Kalonzo's image problems stems from the disputed 2007 elections.Prior to that he somewhat cut a Mr.clean image (difficult to sell in Kenyan politics). The perception was that the violence could have been averted if he chose to support one side instead of 'kupitia katikati yao".Some other politicians may do worse than him and be easily forgiven. Not so for Kalonzo I think the indecisive, spineless etc tag will haunt him for along time.

After the disputed elections, you remember how he declared after a church service at Baptist Ngong road how hata hiyo VP hawezi chukua and immediately changed tune in a few days if not the next day...

@Laughing out loudly, NO, i'm not from Ngilu's place, travelling ain't a crime nor a sin, been there and heard the praise she gets. Met Kalonzo's relatives and heard their side of story. Transacted with one of his new neighbors near Thika and got more negative stories about the guy. Just visit Kalonzo's ancestral home and you will have a reason or two not to defend him. Peter Kenneth as a mere MP has done magic compared to a long-serving Foreign affairs minister and a sitting VP. All the same, opinions!opinions!opinions!

He seemed to enjoy the drama unfold and waiting in the wings for scraps from any side!

These events are very similar to what happened in 1997/98 after the polls! The NDP boss was one day with Kibaki of DP then soon afterwards eating ugali at state hse. He started with friendship, than co-operation then merger with KANU.

How fast did this same guy jump ship between KANU-Nyachae-NARC?

You see how we engage in selective amnesia? If Kalonzo is compared to the likes of Raila, he appears like a saint as Raila is more of an opportunist and 'watermelon' than Kalonzo is.

Please do not mention Charity begins at all relatives places and Kitui Central here.

But maybe you have a point. Though then the argument brought forward against Raila by PNU in 2007 would then stand. I did not support the argument against Raila then and I will not support the one against Kalonzo now.

You're the kind of people letting down Kenya, you either believe Kalonzo or Kilonzo on the ICC issue, we're not asking anyone to justify anything or to be in anyone shoe.

Who do you believe, Kalonzo or Kilonzo?

My ODM-ometer suggests that this guy couldnt be Kalenjin and he claims.

The level of his PH on the ODMometer is such that he must be from the core of ODM.
Highly concentrated!

Just review his thinking pattern - post in wazua!!

..until you look at the post where he chambuad kalenjin politics!!!!...you assume that no kale is supporting ODM now!!!

I am a Kalenjin but I do not need Ruto to tell me whats right and whats wrong, I know who will drive kenya down to the drain, it is WSR, UK and Kalonzo, I never liked Martha Karua until I met her in person and I changed my attitude after that. I would love to see Martha Karua, Mutula Kilonzo and Raila Odinga in the same team. G7 is a group of loser!

I wish there was a way to vote against a presidential candidate. I would vote AGAINST Kalonzo. If you think Moi sold Kenya to the dogs for 24years, try Kalonzo.

Lolest. I'm sorry to say but if there is one thing I am certain of in my life, is that Kalonzo will never become president of Kenya....That's a fact that he needs to be encouraged to understand.

If he told me he was a man, I would insist on DNA tests and even then seek 5th and 6th opinions. In other words, no one believes a word coming out of his mouth.

I may never like Uhuru, Ruto, Karua, PK, Kibaki or any of these other jokers people are trying to vote for, but I would never leave the keys to my house to someone I don't trust.

That is the reason he has no constituency as the other comedians. I doubt if I will ever see in my life anyone consider kalonzo over uhuru, kalonzo over ruto, kalonzo over pk, kalonzo over befwoli. If Kalonzo stood against Wavinya Ndeti he would still lose.

He knows it, that is the reason he's "pretending" to be very hurt by the Hague. He just wants to get the Uhuru and Ruto constituency.

Even my cat knows that. And my cat spends most of its day licking its butt!!Liar Liar

So in this case, Kilonzo, even having spent most of his career licking the KANU baba na mama butt, is still the better option.

Same talk was used against RAO before the 2007 elections....Remember people saying he's unelectable that he'll never make it to State House????

Btw no one has answered Lolest question......why do you hate Kalonzo??? Perhaps because he ditched ODM or maybe because you think he's indecisive!!!! UK, RAO, WR, MM have all been accused of worse things compared to this guy....from Corruption, Murder to attempted Coup but you think they are somehow better.....enyewe tumepotea! Do't get me wrong i'm not saying that he can make a good President but at least he has a clean record.

Just for the record, i believe if UK and WR rally their supporters behind Kalonzo he can beat RAO.

which alternate universe do u live in? Kalonzo and clean record? on what? he was one of the worst supporters of single party rule in KANU days, he literally has no opinion on stand on anything (except supporting Hague). By the way Joe Khamisi claims in his book that he cut a deal with Kibaki before 2007 elections to upset Raila's chances. If Kalonzo were my president I will move to Somali and change citizenship
