Arsenal place a bid for Mikel Arteta....not a bad signing at all. Our main problem seems to be who replaces Song (DM) in January.

Frimpong.

On other news, Arsenal let Joel Campbell leave on loan.

Yossi Benayoun in talks with Arsenal...i hope we get him and Arteta. I just love deadline day drama.

Crouch & Bendtner are about to complete moves to Stoke, still think this team will qualify for Europa Liga this season.

YAAAAAWN...
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

Szsceny, Sagna, Mertesacker, TV5, Santos, Song, Arteta, Wilshere, Gervinho, RVP, Walcott Subs: Fabianski, Ramsey, Jenkison, Gibbs, Benayoun, Koscielny, Frimpong, Park....The Likes of Miyaichi, Alex Chamberlain, Djourou, Coquelin, Miquel should be given a run in the Carling Cup first. That's a decent squad although i feel we'll still get a midfielder in January.

I really feel sorry for Bolton, no one was willing pay more than 10m for Cahill. He's a good player but a bit over priced.

What is wrong with Daglish, how do you sell a player like Meireles and buy Bellamy. Is he really that determined to have a team with British born players from Keeper to forward.

Raul Meireles and Mikel Arteta swapped the city of Liverpool for London in dramatic deals on a busy transfer deadline day.We will miss him.

I don't think Arsenal or Man Utd will make any big signing this January. Hazard was at the Emirates last weekend to watch our match against Man Utd, he's always admired Arsenal and would fit perfectly in the team but hio pesa ni mingi sana....hope TV5 and Gervinho can convince him to sign. Real Madrid were after him at some point!

@ Smano, Shaqiri is not worth anything more than the 10m being offered by Galatasaray that is why the big clubs are not very keen on him. I don't believe he's the kind of player you need to improve your midfield. Mario Goetze would be a good buy or any club but will Dortmund let him leave.

Wenger may spend on the midfield or a forward. Some sources are reporting that Wilshire has a set back in his return and Diaby may also not return soon so Arsenal may need to spend. Rosicky has also been told to stay and may get a contract extension.

I feel Wenger needs to spend much more on the defense, what with Samba wanting out from Blackburn. The midfield is also in shambles add to the troubles with Wilshere's recovery.

Wenger will not buy Samba at this point, the place he would have filled has been taken up by Mertesacker, Vermaelen also recovered and Kochielney has matured very well. But Spurs may snapp him up.

With Ashley Young and Cleverley a week or two away from returning and Anderson out for another fortnight, I'm pretty sure Fergie is not buying anyone, that was just a thought + Scholes and Carrick are around. Worst part for Utd is every time someone comens back, they're replaced by another on the injured list.
