Nothing wrong with it. It is the truth.

Our preachers will side with anyone who will give them money for their prayers! They go the way of prosperity instead of truth.

This fact should have sunk in by now, impunity.

I concur, some preachers have been tripping over themselves to pray for the suspects, while doing nothing for the victims

A cartoon, like a picture, is worth a thousand words. It summarizes the news doing the rounds, conveys the message that the editor cannot freely write about without being sued and it entertains.

The the cartoon, what the artist is reminding you is the fact that in a number of occasions, the churches in Kenya have become undecided on who needs prayers without contradiction of what is prayed for.

The other day, Ruto went to a Catholic church either in burnt forest or so, was prayed for and given the pulpit to have his say. However, the church may have held similar prayers before for IDPs. The contradiction is, the IDPs may have prayed for the arrest of the perpetrators. The same church is later asking the IDPs to pray that the perpetrators may not be confirmed.

Only an idiot in Kenya can say Ruto did not have much to do with the PEV and IDP eventual situation. So, what kind of God is the church presenting to us? Forgiveness.
By inference, the man is all that Mr Phantom is not: an untrustworthy radical, divisive, too many enemies, a dictator, and a persistent liar...

I agree with everything else you wrote except your unsubstantiated insinuations (in RED).

One thing I know, they are not being persecuted for their faith. Ekaterina is not the mordern Saul who is dragging to court and jail those who profess Christianity. Many christians face far greater discomfort than they but with greater thanksgiving and peace of mind.

Who knows, the idle time in jail might be a good time to read the bible from cover to cover, you know and to get new light. Isnt that a good thing?

They are worried about so many things.
Oh, mara so and so should not be president,
oh, mara investigator did this to us,
oh, mara the judge said that to us,
oh, mara kenyans need us to lead them,
oh, mara judiciary this and that,
oh, mara the preacher should have used stronger oil to annoint us,
oh, mara if the preacher dunks us in cooking annointing oil shetani ata shindwa,
oh, mara if we visit all the churches and get prayed for our works will be noticed in the books,
oh, mara if we are not drawn in cartoons it will be better.

Eish!

Dear @Impunity,

We would like to clarify that your link pointed to http://www.standardmedia.co.ke/cartoon/ and the image on this page changes every day, hence the confusion.

We pointed it to the actual image in StandardMedia site and uploaded to a file image site on your behalf.
