Hello wazua members.

Why do we keep on blaming other people and each other for our own inadequacies and shortcomings??? I really don't quite know, but i think we are either stupid, lazy or just accept that we were born poor and should remain poor.

I have been reading some threads here and their contents from the so called knowledgeable lot leaves a lot to be desired. Why?

1. When somebody tells us that when Kenyatta and Moi curved handsome tructs of land land for themselves more than 30 years ago that is when we were condemned to poverty or disadvantaged situation that is stupidity.

Do we have anyone here whose piece of land was taken by force by kenyatta or Moi??

Again there is still alot of land left in kenya (more than 60% is unoccupied). Why do you want that small one from K and M??? Kwenda fanya kazi and buy yours!!

2. When somebody tells us that the descedants of the Kenyatta and Moi are are thieves just because they inherited from their fathers that is stupidity.

Whom did they steal from?? That is their luck. You have every right to ask God why you were born in a disadvantaged background. Kwenda fanya kazi, you might have something your children too will inherit.

3. when somebody tells us that our area or constituency is under-developed just because "our man" is not being given that public office to run, kubafu! that is stupidity.

When your man is in that office his salary is his and his alone with his family. You never and will never appear even as an AOB in his salary budget. Go search the job market for where you fit and convince the job owner that you are the right person and you will earn a salary too.

4. When somebody tells us that they are poor and jobless just because most of the companies are owned by people from pluto, idiot!! that is stupidity.

They came and started from nothing and with what you had, nothing more. You must be silly not to realise the value of the vast resources lying idle under your watch. Kwenda fanya kazi, make your own company and start creating wealth and jobs for your people.

More, more, more and more stupidity...Bring it on.

What would you call someone who is ALLOCATED land for free by the government then sells it back to the very same government for KShs300Million? Has he not stolen KShs 300M from Kenyans? Does that not make me harder for me to get out of poverty because that money (KShs 300M) would have been used to build a road so that I can transport my eggs to the market with less breakages?..

The problem is in misusing positions to allocate yourself resources and thereby deny everyone equity.

Once you use your office to enrich yourself through corruption and outright stealing, that what we have a problem with.

Your thinking is partly correct and partly hog-wash.
When you condone theft of public resources, that is stupid
But as you say, when you lazy around and claim that your ancestral land was grabbed in 1952 and do nothing to improve your status that is stupid.
When other hardworking Kenyans are busy buying small pieces of land from Mavoko, Ngong etc, it would be stupid for the grandchildren of that Wakwitu or Ole so and so from the two places respectively to whine their land was taken.
When someone comes from far start a business in your town work hard and get rich, to complain your region has been invaded by foreigners that is stupid!

When someone carves out a portion of Mau forest-a water tower-and sets a tea factory there, that's silly.
How does he expect us and our cattle to survive when the rivers dry up?

When a few people own most of the 40% arable land in Kenya and it's underutilised and lays fallow, that's silly too.
How do they expect the nation to be fed if they can't farm or let others farm the land?

That is stupidity. Upuzi!!!

The fact that that happened did not mean that it was the end of your life. You still have two hands and two legs and a brain. Kwenda tumia mkokoteni and donkeys to ferry your produce into the market. The poverty that you are talking about arising from the disappearance of 300m is self imposed.NKT!!!

No body supports land grabbing.

If your neighbour was a thief and one day he "thiefed" a very high quality pedegree from an unknown source, will you just there in your house whining about his new cow for the rest of your life and not do something about your own low quality breeds???

Why not make friends with your neighbour, learn one or two things about that cow and then kwenda tafuta mbegu for that type of cow-breed in your AI services?

No body supports any form of theft from the public resources. The only problem is Kenyans are very good at pointing fingures at the dead for their situation and they do not want to work out ways of jumping out of that situation. They choose to continue pointing fingures!!!

This is stupidity.

3 professional Israelis came to Kenya in October 2011. They went round the country, from Lodwar to Marsabit to Wajir to mandera to Garrisa to isiolo to Maralal to Eldoret, Kisumu, Kakamega, Nyeri, Wote, Kajiado, Kitui, Mbura, Lamu Mombasa Lunga Lunga.

During an interview their responses and observations were most shocking. They said that from what they have seen the entire country is excellent for arable farming.

The question is what did they see that we cannot see???

Stupidity.

Yea your neighbour owns 5000acres of land they till 1000. Josiah33 owns 10 and he tills 1. The rest 9 Josiah33 has subdivided it into quarters for his 20 children. Why couldn't Josiah33 have the children build their houses in 2 acres and they collectively till the remaining 8???

Secondly, will you just sit there and complain how big a farm your neighbour has instead of working hard on what you got and improve your standard of living?

Wacha zako livie!!! Have you waited too long for the duo to die out so that you could get a share in their property???

Why are you interested with what they have anyway?? Kwenda fanya kazi ununue yako.

Besides, if your neighbour cooks meat and you are cooking githeri, the scent from the neighbours meat will not make or turn your githeri into meat

@ Segemia

I like your positive attitude. Its so true that some people will complain about something forever without doing anything to change their circumstances.

If you can't see a thief for who he is, that's silly.
Yes, am not not just whining and doing nothing about my situation. But that does not mean i can't tell between a thief and someone who has honestly worked for his wealth.
And if you think it's right to steal, that so silly.

The fact that you were born stupid, doesn't mean you have to stay stupid. Kumagara ni kuhiga. Yawa!
I vote we sponsor Segemia on an all expenses tour of his neighbouring village.
