Anyone who has tips or ideas on where one can get good ceiling material (gympsum or boards)for a good price. I need to compare the prices and see which would be the best. Advice on the best ceiling to put up is highly appreciated.Thanks

Visit Big deal Glass and Hardware supplies at Hevea Park,Building A2, Westlands,Nairobi,Kenya.They have a variety from PVC,acoustic,gypsum and wood ceiling materials and i think their prices compare favourably.....You can get them on 0711104576......but nothing beats a shop i know in downtown Kampala.Damn!

gypsum boards vs pvc which is cheaper overall factoring in cost of wood

pvc is cheaper.It also has the added advantage of being water proof incase the roof leaks.
Its approx. 200% cheaper than chipboard, at kes 350 per m2 compared to chipboard at kes 600 per m2.

Appreciate the info, any leads on suppliers looking at 180sqm. How easy are they to work with to achieve a slanting ceiling that is neat. What other options are there for low cost houses
