the guys who were chasing this thing at 57 bob must be kicking themselves where the sun don shine..

What would possess me to buy TC over centum or britak over JUB?? must be some really high class demons...

Sad When you dig a hole out you might be filling another or making a mountain! IPOs are best for a good company that has good prospectus and take time to rise slowly and is capable of delivering dividends at first FY. This was a stock I never like from the time Go when I remembered East African cables share hit 540 on politicsd'oh!

Were these guys really serious pricing a stock i now value at 3 bob, after making only 58M in their H1 PAT,at 50 bob?

TransCentury Limited’s (TCL) shares touched a new low of Kshs. 23.00 in trading at the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) on Tuesday January 17th 2012 after trading 1,800 shares.

The share eventually closed at Kshs. 23.50. This represents a 53% drop from the introductory price of Kshs. 50.00 on July 14th 2011. Soon after the listing, the share touched a high of Kshs. 60.00, but has been on a swift downward spiral since then.

In light of this development, I undertook a review of the company and its operations

Those who bought at 50 were buying hot air. How do you buy a share with PE > 50? and no history?
