My predictions of a big win for City were thrown out of the window as they battled to a hard won victory. I was amazed to find out that prior to last season, City had not won at the DW since 2006!Frustrating night for Aguerro but title contenders grind out results and that's what City did yesterday. Figueroa was lucky to get a yellow for a clear deliberate handball with Aguerro waiting to pounce - no wonder Mancini was so animated!!!

Super Sunday coming up. This is where we test the true title credentials of Spurs. If they manage to beat City, then we have an interesting few weeks ahead. That one should be a cracker, unless the officials spoil the match.

Then ofcourse there's the battle of the depleted sides at Emirates - I feel we're coming back to form and when we're on the roll Emirates has never been a problem (I'm sure @Taz will have 10 things to say about), I would expect a draw at the very least. But we'll get there when we see the teams that line up that day.

@ Smano....I'm just glad Vermaelen will be fit for this weekend's match, Sagna has also resumed full training and should atleast make the bench....Arteta will also return to the squad to replace Benayoun. Hapa i'm going for a win, same as last season. Our home form has been good in the first half of the season.

@Taz, the only thing I'm worried about is RvP vs Rio/Evans match up - that could be disastrous. I hope Jones & Smalling will be around to present more options for Fergie at the back. Otherwise even I am going for a win.....for Man Utd ofcoursesmile

Roger that.

Did anybody see how the asenane keeper sat down after the third Swansea-ester goal? Expect to see that posture repeated at least thrice on sunday.

The combination of TV5 and Koscielny has proved to be very effective for us so i'm not really worried about our defense (apart from Djourou)....Maybe Wenger will play Maertesacker and push Koscielny to the right. Chamberlain, RVP and Walcott would be my preffered forwardline but then again Wenger sijui alipewa nini na Arshavin. unlike the Chelsea/Arsenal match I don't expect an open game....i expect a low scoring game and red card lazima! We'll field a totally different line-up from the one humiliated at OT.

@ Mwenza.....Its hard to believe thats coming from a fan of a team that was thrashed 3-0 less than two weeks ago.

Playing Martesacker is not an option but a must for Arsenal.

The only thing i fear is Djourou who will be the right back but I would love to see Wenger play ; Ignasi,TV5,Martesacker and Kosgei (Koscielny) in that order from left.

Midfield should be Arteta,Song and Ramsey, Oxlade-Chamberlain,RVP and Walcott should make the forward.

Henry should be able to play 40 minutes and should be introduced @ 50th minute to replace either Chamberlain or Walcott depending on individual performances.

Djourou and Ramsey were at their lowest against swansea. hope the Verminator makes it on time.....Miquel was also not very solid-exposed by Dyer severally.

however, this is a different team from the one of the 8-2 loss and therefore too close to call.
hope arsenal can squeze a win!

This is the talk of a real man. For a team to be considered a top side, it should lift silverware at least once every two years....That is the absolute minimum.

some good news for arsenal fans
http://www.tribalfootbal...ueel-van-persie-2632021

Wenger says the kid is superfluous and will likely partner wilshere in the midfield when he comes out of physioLaughing out loudly
The kid will likely be unveiled next week after issues of number of diapers required is settled.

THIS I LIKE......Kweli desperate times calls for desperate measures!!! Talk of signing a player who is literally in diapers.

Another injury concern for Man Utd but as far as i'm concerned i think he'll play this sunday.

In other news Chelsea kama kawaida are very busy this transfer window, already Gary Cahill deal has been confirmed with some news reporting that there's a deal to bring Eden Hazard. I know these are just unconfirmed reports but when it comes to Chelsea, they get what they want in most cases. There are also reports that they are interested in Swansea's Keeper Vorm, i think he's been the most outstanding so far but you have to feel for the Welsh club due to their good performance so far, most of their top players will most likely be bought by the big clubs. If only Wenger could place a bid for Scott Sinclair before SAF, "Arry, Daglish and the rest do so.......

Varmaelen and Sagna may make the first X1 or at least the bench on Sunday and the OX may start..... Very good news!

@TAZ. Very unfortunate for Rio though of late his perfomance on the pitch has been below standard, slow and indecisive. Our options at the back are really thinning i'm seeing SAF play Carrick as CB.
Chealsea never seem to learn. January window transfers has not really worked for them something SAF and Wenger seems to have appreciated. Selling Alex to buy Cahill-And not even Samba in half-season to me is short-sighted especially with Essien Back! Torres, Crespo, wright phillips, maniche all January signings who did not prove their worth at Stamford. Tragedy is Romelu is already seeking transfer due to limited first team action.

They are 2 Upcoming tournaments ( AFCON & EURO ) for managers to scout potential talents from.
