haha no one believes in COMEBACKS here, Mr. Guru... I told you guys to sell kplc it will go under 19 but you made noise. Undersdtand this guys... I am not here to make noise, some are here.Just listen and if you want to follow do it... if you don't stop preasurising others. From TOMORROW... get buying especially companies with good dividend yeild... e.g.Safaricom, KCB, Sasini...I might print the list later, these are just some of a few.

@ybc on Safaricom I totally disagree with you and the 1st half results says it all. Post the list here and lets compare note.

@Hunder... NIC was to do over Ksh50 next year but due to Bear Market and Increase rates will see its Loan book go down and payment increasing the doubtful debt. So may be you bet on it as a riskier.
@Under, Safaricom subscr has gone up,calling rates up,M-pesa up and Internet betting to go even higher,so far their connection is the fastest yet cheaper but ppl down know, I have tested ZUKU,Safcom, I am now using Orange but from next week I am going back to SAFARICOM for the rest of the year and on.
Dividend yield good and for the past month Foreign Investor are buying at either 2.8 to 2.9.
DO YOUR MATH!

@ybc rem the average revenue per User has gone down despite the increase in subscribers. Although their service is second to none but they are relatively expensive.

@Underweight...as I had told you before...foreigners have been buying Safaricom on a 2.8-2.9 look now where the shares are trading... 3.15 today! Did you get the positive and upward trend of Safaricom from CCK???

Safcom did not improve its revenue or subscriber numbers. The only thing that went up was calling period due to the 10pm to 10am one shilling offer that generated more traffic but not shillings. The rise by Sufferingcon is only illusionary as speculators have misunderstood media reports on Safcom (the media reports were misleading. You needed to read almost whole articles to get a better picture)

Yaser, are you of Arab origin or extraction? I want to get you a birthday present?

Safaricom loses 8% voice market share.

Of the 500k new members, more either bought a second handset or moved to other networks reversing the increase.

Safcom lost market share

I believe an increase in subscribers is a bigger deal than mkt share. However, arguing along the lines of rates of growth of new subscribers for individual Telcos can be revealing.

but that can also be tricky considering the smaller telcos are coming off a low base smile
