@QW...a bluechip vs a small company...if you were to bet who will still be in bs in 2015...bluechips win...am not in nse to know about every listed company...i just need to know what invest in and a few others...am not a jack of all trades...i intend to master a few that arent related...maybe 10 companies...the rest are non of my bs

you are the people who get married to stocks ....an investors mind shouldnot just be tied to 10 or less companies ...
there are so many opportunities to invest in in nse ..but anyway thats your thinkin which you are entitled to

NIC. HFCK. Excellent business strategy. good divided policy.

If you do not want to split your cash into similar stocks you could just buy KCB instead of the above..

KCB combines the two business models into one and is just as cheap as NIC or HFCK if not cheaper..

how is nic model same as kcb ..kcb doesnt even care about small businesses ?

@QW apart from funding mortgages, the recent USD100M Senior Loan to KCB Group from IFC is also earmarked for SME funding. Thus, KCB Group does care for SMEs. Actually, it is Making The Difference Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly #Rooarr!!

KCB Group is the only truly 360 degrees bank (& capitalized enough to be so) -as Scan is as a multi.service media agency-on the NSE currently selling for a song smile

Lol! With the stabilized shilling and a dividend of 7% plus, expect some foreign inflows into KCB and Safcom... a mini rally on Simba till books closure.

comeon man ... are you trying to compare nic and kcb in who is deep in the sme sector ???? hapo uko down ...just coz they received a USD100M loans doesnt mean they are deeply involved in sme sector . they have a loooooooooong way to go the reach equity or nic participation in sme sector !!!
and they are also pretty late if this is when they are going for the sme ...

@qw where did you hear that KCB is not in the SME sector¿¿

definitely they are less in that sector than equity bank but they trump NIC in that sector any day¡¡¡
