The EAPCC board, including Kepha Tande MD has been suspended by Treasury for malpractice. For a listed company this really stinks.

The govnt owns less than 50%. Its strange that Treasury can unilaterally suspend the board.

The Govt, together with NSSF own a controlling majority.

The transfer just eliminated the parastatal status of EAPC, nothing more. The NSSF workers retirement benefit scheme, who have a 4% stake, are unlikely to go against the two.

@GG and @YCSUN have you seen the DN P.22 today? Peter Korir has put an advert saying Karbolo and Tande are not authorised to transact for eapc. This is the making of a new CMC.
