well, id say that that is the best way to get an investment professional qualification that is globally recognised.

with an undergrad (in finance, investments, economics,or any other business related degree) one gets exemptions up to section 2 of the syllabus. (click in this link to view curriculum http://www.kasneb.or.ke/afa.htm)

On completion, registration with (ICSIA) needed to enable one sit for national examinations approved by the ACIIA community( please see www.icsia.biz for more info)

This course is difficult to Complete, but not impossible..

experts in the investment field are needed to start up a stock exchange in juba. where else will they look for expertise but from kenya.

i belive 10-15 years from now those who had done the course will be marketable to train those in southern sudan trade securities.

Am in sec 4,not bad but I think they need to improve on the syllabus e.g FSA in sec 3 is just advanced F.A which to me is wrong the paper should focus more on analysing financial statements rather than advanced topics in F.A drawing consolidated income statements etc.Anyone heard about the chartered Institute of Securities and Investment? The UK version of the CFA program very nice individual programs...

Is there a chance that any of you still have the CSIA notes?
Really in need of them
