I went to two different clinics in town for a simple measurement of blood pressure. Both gave me a clean bill of health despite the fact that I felt that all was not well.It was after I felt dizzy and went to a reputable hospital that they found my pressure was hitting the roof.Beware of these clinics /pharmacists claiming to measure blood sugar and pressure in town.

There is this hospital in Rongai called Garlands at the Kwale market stage...............Took my sister's son there due to inflamed ears................They have advertised that they have a pediatrician 24/7..............They however told me the pediatrician comes on monday.............After the boy was treated and medicine issued,it cost me 2000/ for all..............By the six day,the boy was still in pain and the ear was worse off than before............I took the boy to another clinic nearby and that cost me 400 bob and the boy was up a running on the second day................What is the gover doing about this quakes?

Take one step at a time.

@niando - what was the interval between the different visits and tests? That too is crucial - your BP can be OK this afternoon but high next afternoon.morning.night,etc. Owing to various factors (did you climb stairs, have you eaten well, are yoyu sick, etc, etc) and also owing to factors that affect blood sugar and viscocity (e.g. binge drinking = low blood sugar, and dehydration which causes thick blood,Low BP). Lets have the intervals - If the interval is more than, say, six hours, that statement is inconclusive....

@ Djinn. The tests were successive.Just to be sure.

Was suprised at the results .

Difference of over 20 on the Blood pressure denominator. One machine was manual and the other digital.
