Looking at the previous report, list of shareholders with holdings, I can see about 800 new millionaires being created (i.e. if they are not yet millionaires)... this is based on if "they" decide to convert from agricultural to commercial without noting VVSs comments above....

Well, if you put in 2mn, then yes you will be a millionaire coz having 1.0001mn is still makes you a millionaire ;-)

He will throw some crumbs your way. The rest is his. Look at his history...

Gains in biological assets! The IFRS people should be told that this particular one distorts rather than improves reporting. It is open to abuse by companies that arr less than open. The valuation assumptions are also just assumptions.

@ybc I'll be keenly be watching sasini. If the market rally from tomor then the wave will likely lift it but should the bear run hold its position then it wont excite the market at all.

As long as 11.50 holds, it will be in a bull trend. The current results will spook some, but real estate should hold things together... Mr Market is an interesting entity...

Having one million shillings and above does not turn you into a millionaire. You need a million dollars to be able to call yourself a millionaire.

1) I did not specify a currency ;-)
2) Where is the definition that a 'millionaire' has to be in US$?
3) I was a BILLIONAIRE (perhaps a Trillionaire) in Zim$... Pity, I am no longer one!

You can't win them all...

http://www.businessdaily...6/-/6wvfu3z/-/index.html

"The five-year redeemable bond issued in 2007 was earning annual interest of 11.75 per cent fixed rate and was set to mature next year."

A pity coz it could have re-invested the cash into T-Bills, T-Bonds or Bank Deposits paying 15-25% while paying the Bondholders 11.75%
