A layman would interpret his article differently....Does it mean Kikuyus are responsible for the ever increasing cost of fuel...what about the Kenyan Shilling will it improve if Kikuyus are replaced at Treasury or CBK....Who are the assistant Ministers of Finance & Ennergy anyway.

There's was an article in one of the newspapers sometimes back on how the President and the Prime Minister have surrounded themselves with their tribesmen in their offices.

"Kenyans are not idiots. We are a people endowed with sufficient talent, intellect and reason.." Atleast he got something right!

Some people are quite interesting. So it is ok to say anything no matter how tribal or how divisive it is because its democratic?

Been trying to get this picture...it spoke volumes. There is some truth with regards to the Energy, finance and security ministries.
And my point is this, as at elections 2002, Baks had the opportunity to destroy tribalism and not entrench it....the feeling is out there.

Truth here is relative

Kikuyus are in their millions in this country, not the few in finance and energy ministries. There is also a tendency to omit individuals from other communities like the assistant ministers such as in finance just to skew the arguments and to expand the communities to GEMA when Kikuyu does not fit the bill like in the ministry of energy where we have Kiraitu and Mwirichia.

Such attitude was so rampant in 2006 and 2007. Those Njoroges and Kinyuas were still there. But unhappily the njororge and kinyuas in rift valley were affected.

If this guy and his inferior ilk is not stopped, this is what will happen:
- 2012 will be inundated with such poison
- a kikuyu or a kikuyu-supported candidate wins 2012
- clashes break out 2013; this time finding a fairly well prepared counter-party- make no mistake!
- Kofi annan etc etc...reconciliations fish cake fish cake...
- Njoroges, Kinyuas replaced with Njoroges and Kinyuas.

and ditto 2017, 2022...he will age like Nassir and get out of picture a sad man.

Because this Omari and his cohort thinks from the wrong end, they dont know that to effect change, start from the IQ side, starting from himself to his children ...and to the rest of his non-kikuyu tribe.

And im sure by 'kenyans' he meant 'non ky*£#'. That im certain. Honestly, this f***face should choke on his saliva. He conveniently forgets its now a nusu mkeka govt where baks n RAO check each other amid incessant catfights. When I recall the anguish I went thr during 07-08, I strongly feel the guy should be zipped.

The KNCHR commissioner is like Caesar,s wife. He must be beyond reproach. Omar should go back to 07 and see the REAL cause of the chaos: hatred. We had chants like 41 tribes against 1, Wameiba, wamepata vya bure etc...but I agree, these appointments thing is the biggest downside of the Kibaki era. I agree with @nostop that emilio was the best bet to stop the ukabila dragon.too bad he fed it.
