@hisah if what we just experienced was wave 3 then wave 4 should stop at 3278...wave 5 should bring us below 3000..so I will be drawing my rectanle trend lines at 3278 and 3078..if we break below 3078 then its wave 5...and the bears are intact..above 3278 i will be bullish..

The breakout fakeout zone is between 3278 & 3315. Above this level, bear momentum will start waning. Failure below 3278 should initiate wave 5 targeting 2860. Hopefully Dec holds above 3000. Getting into the corective ABC waves below 3000 after wave 5 will have creamed Wanjikus badly in the ensuing up & down volatility.

@Hisah, maybe a could add some............
4) When the market is forced to open late or
close early because of a "technical error in
the ATS"
- This happened in Jan 2009!

5) When brokers take it upon themselves to call
their clients/emailing them buy proposals of
some specific stocks and urging them to take
the plunge citing IT'S TIME TO BUY!
6) When a day passes and not a single thread or
post has been made here in Wazua!
7) When u visit the brokers office and you are
the only client.
- I saw this in Oct 2008 and Mar 2009 when the
index sank to 3,300 and 2,300 respectively!

Happened yesterday. ATS was down till 11am. Wazua too was down.

And now they do not have power, so no trading so far....seriously?

Wow. ATS has started acting up smile

Today power blackout as per @cnn is the trading circuit breaker smile

Interesting & at the same time bizarre reasons d'oh!

Definitely you are always on top as far as the charts are concerned...interesting Kenol keeps coming and bouncing at 9 bob..if such support level caves in then 8 bob will print but a break out above 10 will open 12 bob and maybe 15....definitely the 3728-3315 is the breakout fakeout zone.....also note that volumes are low on up days compared to down days....

The Fed is worried the sovereign debt crisis could hurt the U.S. economy but then fails to offer anything new to stimulate growth. Down then goes the Euro and European stocks...bleed Mister Market, bleed!!! and can the buggers at the ATS pls stop 'tinkering' with the situation...

Petroleum prices have
dropped for the first time in seven months, offering consumers critical relief during the festive season that begins next week.
The reduction also signals a possible end to the surge in inflation, which has persisted since January.
Energy sector regulator ERC said the drop in prices by up Sh5.07 per litre — the first since the slight dip in May when Treasury cut excise duty on petroleum — came from a recent strengthening of the shilling and last month’s marginal increase in crude oil prices.
