McReggae I completely concur with your statement and the way radio stations have been stating that KQ has acquired 9 dreamliners. KQ do have pilots training in SA specifically for the dreamliners though they have arrangements with the airline unions where expatriates will be hired for the short term.

KQ's success with its project mawingu is firmly pegged on the government's ability and commitment to complete the Greenfield terminal on time which is 2015/16, I mean according to recent data from KQ their passengers numbers are double the capacity JKIA can handle Sad !!! Positive news on this is that the government has agreed to complete the project in one phase instead of two. That takes care of the infrastructure aspect. Politics ruins everything it touches and this project is at risk of that as well.

787 Dreamliner is claiming the distance record by flying 19,835 kilometers non-stop from Seattle to Dhaka, breaking the distance record set by an Airbus A330 in 2002 (16,903 kilometers).
