There is a "cheapness" that pervades this network of late...and services are not that good. Data speeds are very poor and there is a lot of haziness about its plans for 3G. Indeed the recent dispute on the land that it was to build on, will negatively affect Kenya as their biz hub.
With losses reported across most subsidiaries, will it be any wonder if Airtel atrophies in Africa?
Perhaps another sale looming in 2012?

Data seems to be better these days, I have not had downtimes lately, though it is slower that scon, but the who needs lightning speed?

Not sure if it is only me but of late I tend to exhaust most of my bundles in a short duration. At same internet usage, a bundle of 100MB is exhausted now faster than before November. I could use 100mb for atleast 3weeks but now for just 3 days browsing on phone only. Seems I ll soon throw away this sim since the only reason was holding it was cost effective data.
