Advice on type of TV setup for upcountry

Hi great people. Now that it is Christmas time, the likes of me have to go shags. I have tv for my old man but it only receives kbc as usual and ntv. Am considering GOTV, dstv, etc or free to air dishes/decoders. What my be the best option? Am not for dstv so much coz the oldman may not be happy with the monthly premiums. Am listening!

Upcountry ni wapi? I ask because gotv has limited coverage and your bundu might be out of range.
