Ekuete is here to stay. In what form it will take, I don't know but there is no denying the fact the political patronage they currently enjoy might not be there in the next dispensation.

The fact that it filled a void previously unserved is confirmation that it will be there. The fact that they are currently remodelling themselves via the agent concept makes it a more forceful player in the space it created, a space that should have initially been filled by Coop, who dithered when the iron was hot.
