No excuses here...and to think we had a clear shot on the finals (seeing as Palace have been drawn against Cardiff). In my opinion, Fergie should have started Lindergaard on goal, Pogba and Morrison - the two youngsters have more to prove than Gibson the cupboard and Park, whose best years seem to be behind him. Johnny Evans once again showed why he should never play a Man Utd shirt - thank God Smalling is back If our exit does not benefit us in the league i.e. Man City's continued involvement leads to injuries or dropped points in the league, then it will be quite a loss. Fergie even apologised to the fans BEER IS LIVING PROOF THAT GOD LOVES US AND WANTS US TO BE HAPPY!

Nowonder u are praying for their injuries, its dawning on Mansita fans They stopped being noisy neighbours the moment they demolished us at home. We need them to drop more points, even if we keep winning - that's the reality of it. Any Man Utd fan who can't admit that is living in the past. They're the new Chelsea after Roman and Jose combined. Anyway, the more at the top the merrier (and nervier for us fans - the reason why we so love this game) By the way where do pledge your allegiance @Um Sayala? If that comes to pass then I won't mind the FA cup...a trophyless season is a disatrous campaign by Man Utd's high standards...must have been 2004/2005 season when we last went trophyless - Mourinho's first season with Chelsea BEER IS LIVING PROOF THAT GOD LOVES US AND WANTS US TO BE HAPPY!

Like i said earlier this cup is usually a distraction...here's how the fixtures looks like in Jan for Man city and L'pool
Dec 30.11 - Liverpool play Newcastle (H) while City face Sunderland (A) Jan 03.12 - Liverpool and City face each other in the league at Etihad Jan 07.12 - FA Cup third round Jan 10.12 - Liverpool vs Man City Carling Cup Semis - either home or away Jan 15.12 - Liverpool Vs Stoke (H), Man City Vs Wigan (a) Jan 21.12 - Liverpool Vs Bolton (A), Man City Vs Spurs (H) Jan 24.12 - L'pool Vs Man City Carling Cup Semis 2nd leg - either home or away Jan 28.12 - FA Cup, fourth round
If you look at Arsenal's performance over the last 2 or 3 seasons we usually start struggling from February....L'fools and City can claim that they have depth in their squads but so far performance on the pitch has proved otherwise.

Man Utd's december fixtures (posted in the EPL thread) are very bearable and if we haven't closed the gap with City by start of the year (they have a considerably harded Dec) then I'll begin to get a bit worried BEER IS LIVING PROOF THAT GOD LOVES US AND WANTS US TO BE HAPPY!
