Tusker Football Club are the 2011 Kenya Football/Soccer Premier League (KPL). Here is a brief history of the Mighty Brewers of Ruaraka;

Tusker FC is a football club based in Nairobi, Kenya. It is the third most successful club in Kenya with Nine Kenyan league championships and three Kenyan cup (FA Cup) wins. In addition, it has won four East African CECAFA Clubs Cup titles.

The club was known as Kenya Breweries Football Club until 1999, when the current name was adopted.

Tusker FC has two home stadiums, the Moi International Sports Centre-Kasarani (under renovation) and Ruaraka Sports Ground (Tusker Village).

Apart from being the amongst the top three most loved clubs in Kenya, Bururi (as it is known to many) is a non-tribal outfit, and, it has been suggested that the club be bought by its fan and re-named National Footbal Club - similar to Egyptian giants Al-Ahly F.C well known as Egypt Nationale.

Gor Mahia...you'll have to look up the stats though.

Closely followed by AFC...

Ulinzi only have themselves to blame - how do you lose the 2 games you had at hand???d'oh!

@smano, Ulinzi thrashed chemelil by about 4 goals, this was one of the matches in hand, after the debacle of points subraction and reinstatement of the games, I just did not want them to win!!!

@Marty, Gor K'ogallo is the most successful club in kenya having won a total of 27 cups including the African Cup Winners in 1987 (the only east african team to have done so)....it is followed by afc who have 24 cups and Tusker with 19!!!!

Games in hand are sometimes very tricky. Wait and see what might befall Tottenham with their game in hand

@Marty, even if they lose their game in hand, they''ll still just be 2 points behind Man Utd...not bad all things considered.

@McDoba, thank for the correction, I guess they'll feel it's a case of so close yet so far!Like we did in 2009/2010 season when Chelsea edged us out on the last day
