I don't think its coz of regulations. The guy is going to other cheap counters.

I also think they are diluting their ownership coz days when banks used to make easy money are likely to be numbered.

there's a regulation that bars an executive director from owning more than 5 per cent of the institution’s capital ...its also in the article ...
now his stake is about 3% and he's not the only one selling ...

And why should Mwangi and other major shareholders not sell their shares as they wish especially to spread their investments? It is a listed company! If you think that that is a sign that they dont have confidence in the Bank that is your decision to make. Mwangi still has a stake in the Bank valued at over 2 Billion at today's prices.
